Description :We are utterly delighted to announce that Flora delivered a most beautiful litter of liver and white puppies. We now have 5 boys and 3 girls waiting to find a home. All are very lively and eating well. Flora did a magnificent job of delivering them, cleaning them and getting them feeding so quickly and efficiently. It truly was amazing to watch. The puppies have been legally docked and their dew claws removed. puppies are KC reg and with 5 weeks insurance, microchipped, naturally wormed (you will be given a starter pack and information about natural worming). Flora is raw fed – the benefits of which I can’t begin to tell you! - as well as having been wormed using a natural alternative. We are committed to ensuring that she has minimal chemical intervention. Our wonderful 3 year old Jessophia Girl (Flora) is health tested with a hip score of 4/6=10. She has a great pedigree. Her father, Isara Kurzhaar Wieser, has been highly successful in the show ring with the majority of his prizes gained from national and international breed specialist. Her mother, Jessophia La Traviata, has 18 SH CH in her 5 generation pedigree. The sire is Jhebron’s Zumrut (Flynn) a stunning 8-year-old liver/white ticked German Short Haired Pointer. He is health tested and with a fantastic hip score of 3/3 = 6 tested at the age of 7yrs old. He is from excellent FT CH bloodlines. Both parents are FT CH. His sire is Dunpender Rabbie and the dam Stubblemere Harlequin at Jhebron. Flynn is an outstanding working dog, both under the gun and with birds of prey. He is a very fit and strong, hunting most days. A competent swimmer both in still and fast flowing water, crossing rivers with ease. He has a brilliant temperament around children and animals and is a valued family member with great character and loyalty. The inbreeding co-efficiency between them is a fantastic 1.5% which is well below even the KC recommended 5.8%. We are confident that Flynn and Flora’s puppies will be good for hunting/working dogs as well as show dogs and, most certainly as beloved family pets. Please contact us if you are interested and rest assured that we promise a lifetime of support and advice at any time.

Advice when buying a German Shorthaired Pointer

Please read the following advice before buying a new pet, you should also read our article on avoiding scams :
  • NEVER make the decision to get a dog or puppy on a whim. A dog is a lifetime commitment and a lot of thought should go in to it before making the decision.
  • NEVER buy a new dog or puppy without being able to visit it at its home. If someone wants to meet you and makes excuses why you cant go to their home, just walk away and report it to us.
  • HELP US TO STOP PUPPY FARMING, read our PUPPY FARMING Information, in association with C.A.R.I.A.D
  • Read our detailed Information guide about dogs for potential new dog owners.
  • Puppies should not leave their mother until at the very least, 8 weeks old.
  • Read our Airedale Terrier breed information profile to research and find out more about this breed.
  • NEVER send money to someone for a pet using Western Union or Money Gram, as your money cannot be traced once sent.
  • Ask to see the pedigree papers and ensure the breeder's name is on the certificate.
  • Recently some advertisers are advertising their pets as Pedigrees, but when people have gone to buy the pet, the seller has made excuses and said they will post on the pedigree papers. NEVER pay for a KC registered dog or Pedigree Club dog if they dont have the certificates as you may never receive them.
  • Be wary of outlets offering more than one or two breeds
  • When visiting the seller note the surroundings and never go alone
  • Visit the puppy more than once
  • The breeder should want to know about you too
  • Ask to see the puppies mother - be very suspicious if you can't

Puppies bred commercially, indiscriminately and carelessly are likely to…

  • Develop disease
  • Have temperamental problems
  • Be difficult to housetrain
  • Find adjusting to family life hard
  • Suffer physical defects and have hereditary weaknesses
  • Think carefully before buying and do not buy the pet because you feel sorry for it.
  • If you buy from an unscrupulous breeder or dealer, you will be supporting their trade in misery. Every one you buy, another takes it place.
